The Break In!

Well last night we went up to payson around 7:oop.m. just after I got done doing hair. We were gone maybe an hour and a half and we pulled in the house and were getting the kids out like we always do and Mike was just in front of Avia and I with Madix. He put Madix down and went to shut the blinds by the french doors, and then he was like GRAB THE KIDS! I was in total shock and was like WHAT! He pointed at some fresh the snow that was still white and perfect shoe prints all over the floor and another set of muddy shoe prints too. I grabed the kids and got in the conner and Mike grab his gun and started going through the house. He found nothing. So we called the police and they came up and took footprints and investaged. They figured they they came in through the back and that we caught them in the act, so they lucky didn't get anything. So of course I didn't sleep at all last night, scared to death. I feel so uneasy in my own home, and that's the place that your suppost to feel the safest! We are going to get a security system, so if any one knows of any good ones please post. So everyone keep your doors lock and everything valuable somewhere safe.

How Scary! You know it really stinks that even in a little town like this, and in your own home it is hard to feel safe. I am so glad nothing was taken and that you guys are safe. I can't even imagine how terrifying that must have been. My mom told me about it this Saturday morning, and Launey, my parents, my grandparents, and my aunt and uncle were gone to Nevada so I had a hard time sleeping myself. I know they probably don't break into occupied homes, but it still shakes you up a bit, especially when it happens to somebody you know. Well, once again, I am glad that everybody is safe and hopefully the police can catch those you-know-whats!
PS- My parents have a security system, they got it from the company Marci's husband Cody works for. I think that they have liked it.

Scary! I am so glad you are all okay! I would be scared to death! Those dirty criminals. How dare they do that? I am so sorry, but you're lucky nothing happened. That just stinks that you had to go through that! I hope this is the end of the story!

I told Erick that I bet you were getting a security system on Saturday. I think that is what you need. It does suck that you can't feel safe in your own home, you for sure need to get one and get it installed asap!!!

Hey Mckel! I didn't know you guys had a blog! Anyway, that is really scary! It makes me wonder if someone broke into my house because I had kind of the same thing happen. We had footprints in our backyard one day and it freaked me out! Anyway, add us to your blog if you want! I hope you are not mad but I added you to mine too!

That is so scary. I have such an imagination that I would not feel comfortable either. I am glad that you guys scared them out before they got to anything. Break in's can be so damaging to you personally. If you haven't already gotten a system, Jon sales them and he can get you the equiptment for free all you have to pay is the $99 for the activation and the monthly monitoring. His company is out of Provo so it would not be a big deal to install it in Nephi. Give me a call if you want us to hook you up. I am glad that you guys are ok!
love,
Amber
